Landlording Tips:Before Tenant Moves In:- When setting appointments to show, tell the prospect they must confirm with me the day of the appointment or I will not be there.
- Create a promissory note in the total amount of the lease along with the lease agreement.
- Get a blank check from tenant for auto withdrawal
- Get credit card number and authorization to charge rent along with late fees in case rent is late
- $300 deductible on repairs
- Tenant will not contact landlord by phone for repairs
- All repair requests will be made in writing along with a $300 certified or cashier's check
