I guess my
testimonial of Brian Gibbons' coaching would be characterized as more, for
lack of better words and reluctantly borrowing the title of a Carpenter's
song, "We've Only Just Begun" (no offense to Carpenters
fans out there).
I haven't
done any deals yet and I'm just starting to learn how Private Money works. I
don't earn a good income and my credit is very shaky due to a bankruptcy. I've
been through more financial challenges in the past few years than most people I
know could bear. I'm very thankful for all that I do have, one
thing being mental toughness.
On the
bright side, and at the risk of gushing about him, I've been extremely blessed
to have met Brian Gibbons and to presently have his coaching.
When I met
him one and a half years ago, I had known that I wanted to get into real
estate investing, but had absolutely no knowledge-none whatsoever- or
experience in it. Due to my circumstances and my location (SF Bay
Area-a horribly tough place to live financially), and even Brian didn't quite
know what to do with me!
The main problem with living in the Bay Area is this:
The median price of a VERY average
single family home is around $500,000. With the low income, problem credit
position that I’m in right now, added with no experience in Creative Real
Estate Investing, it makes things very difficult to get started!
But being driven to succeed, having
mortgage brokering experience, and sales experience are definitely some pluses
for me.
Brian is training me in Private
Money Recruiting to Financial Planners and CPAs. I’ll be presenting to 401K
Mutual Fund investors on how to buy real estate using a Self Directed IRA. He’s
also showing me how to buy Single Family Homes at a discount. With those
purchases, I’ll do a Lease Option or a Contract for Deed on them.
There were
many times, especially in the beginning, that I tried to cut my ties with him.
I thought that I should have a mentor that lived closer to me-at least in
the U.S.
But Brian persisted to stay in contact with me, and little by little he's given
me guidance that has eventually brought me to understand many things about
real estate investing.
I've been
someone that has always lived just for today, without planning for the future.
Usually I’m very content with that approach to life. But as I've gotten older,
I realized that in order for me to realize my dream of opening a retreat for
low-income children-or any dream for that matter- one MUST be
on a specific course of action.
Being that planning is not my natural
tendency, I've opened myself up to Brian's suggestions, and it's one of the
smartest things I've ever done. I'm setting up my business and will be
acquiring Private Money lenders very soon, thanks to Brian.
He's a very
focused, caring and persistent coach. He's frighteningly intelligent
about real estate investing and finance. He's full of integrity.
He's got a
huge, beautiful heart that is so very rare in most people that I can't
help but to choke up when I think about that.
I could go
on for a very long time about this wonderful person. I don't take time to
recommend anyone or anything unless I feel very strongly about it. Brian is a
coach that NO ONE should pass up.
Best Wishes
to All,
